Our client came to us with a real need. His family was growing (wife, young son and dog) and his single-level Edgemont (North Vancouver) bungalow was nearing capacity.

The spare bedroom was being used as a Home Office but our client complained: “It was being used as a dumping ground for stuff around the house.”

With the clutter closing in and unable to focus on his work during the day it meant his business was suffering.

And…

By not being able to concentrate on his work, simple tasks were taking longer and taking time away from his family.

“There Must Be A Better WAY!” he thought.

The solution was Dad’s office in the backyard. Far enough away to let him focus on the tasks at hand but close enough to lend a hand when necessary.

Westcoast Outbuildings constructed this beautiful 8′ x 12′ Lifestyle Outbuildings Modular Backyard Office in its North Vancouver factory and delivered 95% complete to the site.

90 Ton Hiab Crane

Within 20 minutes of being delivered to site the modular backyard office was strapped and hoisted safely into position over top of their house by a 90 Ton Hiab Crane. The big crane was stretched out nearly 80′ into the backyard creating a bit of a neighbourhood spectacle on a Friday afternoon.

From beginning to end the lift took less than 2 hours.

By building this in our Factory offsite we save you and your neighbours weeks of onsite constructions noise and disruptions. Ticked off neighbours are a thing of the past 😉
