5′ x 7′ East Vancouver Storage Shed
Our clients came to us with a challenge… They had just bought a brand new townhouse in East Vancouver and it had ZERO storage for bikes, winter tires, hockey gear etc.
During the purchase process they approached the property developer and requested they install a shed. The developer said NO but passed on our website to the buyers.
We received the call and met the client on-site to figure out exactly what they needed.
We had to fit the shed into the existing parking pad and make it look as though it was meant to be there. They didn’t want the East Vancouver Storage Shed to stick out or draw attention.
Also due to the proximity to 1st Ave. and Commercial Drive the significant foot traffic posed a potential security/break-in risk.
The solution was a Custom 5×7 Contemporary Shed. We were able to use horizontal siding, as well as match the existing paint colours and trim details. We then added a highly secure roll-top door by Smart Garage with dual cam locks for extra security.
Here is a great example of a situation where you can pair modern/contemporary design with the traditional look of the townhouses and when done properly it works well. This custom-made building was design, approved and delivered in about two weeks!
