Our client called us wanting to replace the listing structure with a nice new 10’ wide by 8’ Long Contemporary Backyard Office / Storage building. The first 4’ of the building would be Storage and the balance a nice, bright and airy office / craft space.
In the fall of 2013 we were contacted by The Dharma Fellowship of His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa who maintains a Hermitage for meditation and spiritual practice on Denman Island, . Westcoast Outbuildings was hired to Design, Build and Install 5 Cabins in a recently cleared forest grove. Each shed was designed to maximize the privacy and views of the forest while providing a space to mediate without being distracted by others.
