West Vancouver Garden Shed: The Stealth Shed
Sometimes out of sight out of mind also applies to a West Vancouver Garden Shed. Out client wanted a beautiful prefab shed but they didn’t want it to stand out. They wanted it to blend in.
Westcoast Outbuildings built a Contemporary, minimalist looking Garden Shed with as little trim detail as possible. We call it the “Stealth Shed”.
This job proved to be very challenging due to a location, across a drainage ditch, down a 10′ embankment and nestled in the bamboo forest.
In this case we decided to try something new and built the walls in 4 panels instead of the 8 we would typically do. The choice for larger sized panels actually made moving a 12′ long wall down a 10′ embankment pretty easy.
We have also started pre-painting everything we can in the shop. Working in a dry environment allows better quality paint finish and save a lot of downtime due to the Vancouver weather. Really liking the “Flat Paint” look too.
Regardless of the challenge the end product looks amazing.
