Coquitlam /kˈkwɪtləm/ (2011 census population 126,840)[3] is a city in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. Coquitlam, mainly a suburban city, is the sixth-largest city in the province and is one of the 21 municipalities comprising Metro Vancouver.
