What We Need to Move Your Building:
Good site access: With out high mobility shed delivery trailer we can get into some amazing locations but good site access is essential.
Good Structure: The structure has to be strong enough to be moved, jacked and/or winched. Some poorly built sheds can’t handle a move without us adding floor and wall bracing to key areas.
Good Number:
How wide at widest points – Your building must be under 16′ 6″ in width.
How tall ground to peak – Your buildings must be under 11′ 6″ in Urban areas or 12′ 6″ in Rural areas

Our client wanted a small building to house his electric Meat Smoker. Many of the Prefab Smokehouse products he had seen on the market were poorly built and didn’t look very nice.
Our task was to It had to be robust, secure and most importantly aesthetically pleasing Prefab Smokehouse (Prefab Meat Smoker).
Our client was looking for something a little different for the design of their new Outhouse. Destined for Saturna Island in the Gulf Islands this mix of Open-Joint Cedar and Corrugated siding fits right in.
With a Tenant in the Basement and a growing family upstairs this Burnaby Realtor needed more space to focus making sales. The answer was an 8'x12' Lifestyle Backyard office.
Sometimes all it takes is a little distance to create the calm in the midst of the chaos of every day life and that is exactly what our client did.
Just feet from his backdoor, and tucked away in the tranquil backyard of his North Vancouver property stands this 8′ x 12′ Lifestyle Outbuilding Backyard office space.
This East Vancouver Art Studio was designed for a burgeoning graphic artist who was ready to move his workbench from the Kitchen Table to his own dedicated work-space. An 8' x 14' Backyard Art Studio was the Answer.
This Backyard Office Loft project was one of the most fulfilling jobs of the year. Nearly 4 months in the planning this building was designed to be built within the 107 Sq/Ft exemption in the BC Building code. Buildings under 107 Sq/ft do not require a building permit.
Our West Vancouver client wanted something they couldn’t get from any other supplier in Vancouver. They wanted a modern shed made with their own doors custom doors that were left over from the renovation of their house. Westcoast Outbuildings designed and built the building around the doors.

Our client was looking to build a small cabin on his property 4 acre property on Galiano Island. We wanted something, simple, modern yet a bit rustic and finding that balance was a real challenge but I think we did it. The result was a beautiful 10′ wide x 24′ long Coastal Cabin with a 120 sq/ft indoor living space and 120 sq/ft outdoor living space.
Our client had recently moved to the Comox Valley. He was experiencing the Big Land / Small House syndrome in a major way. With another rug-rat on the way it was time to add some more space for Dad to work away from the main house where achieving a reasonable amount of concentration was possible.
It was time to ditch the daily commute and the high priced downtown office rent. Out client decided it was time to move her massage practice close to home with this stunning little Backyard Massage Studio
The Ralmax Group of Companies based in Victoria BC is growing fast. Their recent acquisition of Trio Ready-Mix and the decision to setup a new aggregate/landscape supply depot in View Royal left them with some very specific needs. They wanted a Modular Sales Office that was sleek, modern and built offsite. Westcoast Outbuildings was able to fill that need in a very short period of time.
Ellis Recycling was setting up a new Deposit Depot in View Royal (Victoria) BC. We supplied them with a fully functional Modular Scale Booth to assist with the weight-in and weight-out of vehicle as they return recyclables.
Our client in Powell River BC was looking for a small backyard office for property. We built this little beauty in our factory, trailered it to site and placed in on the pre-built foundation. Couldn't get easier than that. Instant SPACE delivered.

Sticks Building Products: Maple Ridge Modular Office

Westcoast Outbuildings is pleased to announce it’s just signed on to build a 10′ x 24′ Modular Office for Sticks Building Products of North Vancouver BC.
Sticks is relocating their Materials Yard to Maple Ridge BC in the fall of 2014. As part of that relocation they need a Portable Office Buildings.
Sticks went to BC’s largest Modular Building builder but they were unable to supply the right style of building in the timeline required. They couldn’t meet our client’s needs. Ultimately a “Construction Trailer” would not meet the design standards for the Kanaka Business Park.

Sticks President Kevin Bradshaw contacted us and in less than 48hrs Westcoast Outbuildings created concept drawings and had them approved by the business parks architect. Now we are working to obtain the required Building Permits to proceed with the development.
